International Medical Center of the First Teaching Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a key international healthcare service platform established by the hospital. Building on the institution's profound heritage in traditional Chinese medicine and modern medical technology, the center integrates both internal and external resources with a multidisciplinary team approach to provide distinctive, high-quality TCM diagnostic and treatment services to patients from China and abroad. 　　国际诊疗中心综合病房整合全院优势学科资源，组建了一支高水平医疗团队。团队现有高级职称专家4人，中级职称骨干13人，医学博士3人，硕士6人。中心配备现代化诊疗设备和传统中医特色治疗区，将针灸、推拿等中医药传统疗法与现代健康管理相结合，为患者提供个性化中医体质调理、特色专病诊疗、亚健康状态干预、全生命周期健康管理等。在服务品质上，中心以“优质”为核心，从诊疗方案制定到治疗过程实施，均由经验丰富的专家团队全程把控，确保每一位患者都能享受到精准、高效的医疗服务。自2024年11月正式开诊以来，已累计服务海内外患者超500余人次。在慢性病管理领域，中心创新性提出“中药调理+经络治疗+生活方式指导”的三维一体疗法，显著提升了患者生活质量。

The International Medical Center Comprehensive Ward harnesses the hospital’s leading medical expertise to bring together a highly skilled and experienced team. Our team includes four senior specialists, thirteen  clinical leads with intermediate professional title, three medical doctors, and six master’s degree holders—all dedicated to delivering exceptional integrative care. Equipped with modern diagnosis and treatment equipments  and dedicated traditional Chinese medicine treatment zones, the center seamlessly blends time-honored TCM therapies such as acupuncture and tuina with modern health management protocols. We provide personalized care, including constitution-based conditioning, specialized disease treatment, subhealth interventions, and comprehensive whole-life health management. Quality is embedded in every aspect of our service. From meticulous diagnosis to personalized treatment planning, each step is supervised by our seasoned experts to ensure accurate and efficient care. Since its opening in November 2024, the center has already served over 500 patients from across China and around the world. A notable innovation is our three-dimensional approach to chronic disease management, which integrates herbal medicine, meridian therapy, and personalized lifestyle guidance—significantly enhancing our patients’ quality of life.

　　国际诊疗中心涵盖特需门诊和综合病房两部分。特需门诊比邻国医堂、国药堂及中医治疗室，区域独立，既可以方便名医名家就近提供诊疗，又能使患者在同一区域完成看诊、理疗、取药等服务。

The International Medical Center consists of two main sections: the Premium Outpatient Clinic and the Comprehensive Ward. The Premium Outpatient Clinic is located adjacent to the Expert Clinic, Premium-Quality TCM Pharmacy, and TCM Treatment Rooms. This independent area allows renowned medical experts to provide convenient services nearby, while enabling patients to seamlessly complete consultations, therapies, and medication pickup within the same zone.

　　综合病房设在住院部24楼，本层患者及家属可乘专梯直达，为患者提供良好的私密性保障。目前共有10间VIP套房和19间单人病房，配备完善的酒店式服务，患者可随时拎包入住。

The Comprehensive Ward is located on the 24th floor of the inpatient building. Patients and their families can access the floor directly via a dedicated elevator, ensuring a high level of privacy and convenience. The ward currently offers 10 VIP wards and 19 single-room wards, all equipped with comprehensive hotel-style amenities, allowing patients to move in comfortably at any time.

　　国际诊疗中心还为患者精心订制每日三餐，不仅兼顾美味与营养，还依据患者的病情推行低糖、低脂、低盐的个性化饮食，并充分考虑不同文化背景和饮食习惯特点，提供多样化的餐饮选择，满足国内外不同人群的需求。同时对外合作交流中心可提供住院期间的医疗翻译服务（英、德、葡、日、韩语），清除语言障碍。此外，医院已与20余家商业保险公司签署合作协议，便捷结算。

We take great care in providing three daily meals that are thoughtfully customized for each patient. Our meals are designed to be both delicious and nutritious, with options tailored to specific medical needs such as low-sugar, low-fat, or low-salt diets. We also take into account diverse cultural backgrounds and dietary preferences, offering a wide variety of cuisines to meet the expectations of both domestic and international patients. Moreover, our International Cooperation and Exchange Center offers professional medical interpretation services during hospitalization in English, German, Portuguese, Japanese, and Korean, ensuring smooth communication and eliminating language barriers.In addition, our hospital has established direct billing agreements with more than 20 commercial insurance companies, allowing fast and convenient settlement of medical expenses.

Looking ahead, the International Medical Center will continue to focus on the growing demand for international medical services, striving to further enhance service quality, deepen resource integration, and expand specialized areas. We will strengthen cooperation and exchange with global medical institutions and introduce advanced health management concepts and service models to elevate the “high-quality” standard of our care. An intelligent TCM health management system will be developed to provide remote medical services, offering patients a more “convenient” healthcare experience. We will continue to enrich our “distinctive” TCM services by exploring more effective approaches in wellness conditioning and chronic disease management to meet the diverse health needs of our patients. Meanwhile, we will increase efforts in talent development by establishing an international training system and building a bilingual TCM teaching team, thereby enhancing our global service capability and scientific innovation capacity.Our goal is to build a leading domestically and internationally recognized TCM medical brand, promoting traditional Chinese medicine culture worldwide.
