The Clinical Laboratory Department adheres to the quality policy of "scientific management, sound system, high efficiency and accuracy, and innovative development", and takes "patient-centered, quality-focused, and service-oriented" as its departmental mission. Currently, it is composed of the laboratory departments of the Nankai and Xiqing Campuses, with a total area of over 3,400 square meters. It is divided into specialized groups such as Biochemistry, Immunology, Hematology and Body Fluids, Microbiology, Emergency, Blood Bank, and the Nankai Campus Comprehensive Group. The department has been accredited by the ISO15189 quality management system. It has 126 staff members, including 35 with postgraduate degrees, among whom there are 2 master's degree supervisors. In recent years, it has obtained over 10 patents and published more than 90 papers, including nearly 10 SCI articles.
