Pathology department has eight professional and technical staff, including one chief physician, one deputy chief physician, two attending physicians, three technicians in charge, one technician, two with doctor’s degrees, three with master’s degrees and three with bachelor’s degrees. The department has conducted pathological examination and diagnosis covering surgical specimens, endoscopic biopsies, frozen sections, various puncture procedures, shed cells, esophageal and trachea brushes, etc. More than 50 kinds of specific staining and over 100 kinds of IHC antibodies are carried out. More than 160,000 cases of precancerous lesions of gynecological cervical cancer have been screened, and more than 4,000 cases of precancerous lesions have been screened. Besides, the department has all the diagnostic and treatment equipment required by a first-class hospital. Moreover, the hospital has achieved the traceability of the whole process and “paperless office”.
