Urology department was established in 2010. The department has become the integration of medical treatment, teaching and research in more than ten years. Based on the diagnosis and treatment concept of modern minimally invasive surgery combined with traditional Chinese medicine, the department has accumulated rich experience in the diagnosis and treatment of urolithiasis, prostatitis, urinary tumors and urinary dysfunction and other diseases, with urolithiasis and prostate diseases as the dominant diseases. The urology department of the hospital has ward section, outpatient clinic and emergency clinic. The department has 24 medical staff and 18 beds. There are more than 20,000 outpatients, near 10,000 emergency visits, and about 1,000 discharged patients each year. Furthermore, the department has completed many projects of Tianjin Municipal Health Commission and Tianjin Municipal Education Commission. Moreover, the department has published more than 30 papers in SCI and core journals. Additionally, the department has edited and participated in more than ten monographs.
