Andrology department was founded in 1989. After 30 years of efforts and development of several generations, the department has formed an andrology diagnosis and treatment center with perfect talent echelon, standardized clinical diagnosis and treatment, integration of medical treatment, scientific research and teaching, and equal emphasis on traditional Chinese and western medicine. There are nine physicians, including two master’s tutors. The department leads and promotes the combination of pharmacotherapy-physiotherapy-psychotherapy in China. Besides, the department implements the diagnosis and treatment model of “sexual and reproductive co-treatment” and “brain-heart-renal co-treatment”. The annual outpatients exceed 50,000, ranking front in the andrology department of public hospitals in northern China. In recent years, the department has undertaken 14 projects at various levels, won four awards of science and technology advancement at various levels, and edited and participated in the compilation of more than 30 textbooks and monographs. Furthermore, the department has published over 200 core journal papers and 16 SCI papers.
