Functional examination department is a comprehensive department integrating medical treatment, teaching and scientific research. Since its establishment in 1984, with hospital’s development and the update of medical equipment and technology, the department has grown and developed gradually. The department consists of ultrasound, ECG, EEG, EMG and Transcranial Doppler, and carries out various examinations of contrast-enhanced ultrasound, musculoskeletal ultrasonography and musculoskeletal interventional ultrasound, so as to develop sub-specialty branches in the department. The annual inspection volume exceeds 500,000. The department has a complete technical team consisting of three generations of physicians: the senior, the middle-aged, and the young. It currently has 42 physicians, including three chief physicians, six deputy chief physicians, and 20 graduate degree holders.
