Clinical laboratory department takes “scientific management, well-established system, high efficiency and precision, and innovative development” as its policy. The department’s motto is “patient-centered, quality-focused and service-oriented”. The department is composed of the laboratory departments of the south and the north parts with a total area of over 3,400 square meters. Besides, the department includes specialized sections such as biochemical immunization room, clinical laboratory of outpatients, clinical examination room, microbiology room, emergency laboratory room, blood bank, and the general laboratory of the north part. The clinical laboratory department is accredited by the ISO15189 quality management system. It has 124 employees, including 35 with postgraduate degrees, and three master mentors. In recent years, the department has obtained more than 10 patents, and published over 90 papers, including 10 SCI papers.
